Job Summary: |
The Senior Staff Engineer will work on design and development of various call control modules of Veraz control switch. He/she will perform all aspects of software development including low level design, coding, unit testing and system integration activities. He/she will be working with other members of the team as part of work assignments. |

| Experience/Skills: |
We are looking for a minimum of 3-5 years. Software development experience in telecom/VoIP products. A strong technical background coupled with in-depth experience of C/C++ programming in Unix environment is a must. Working knowledge in one or more of VoIP (Sip/H.323/H.248) and any one of TDM(Ss7/Isdn/Cas) protocols is necessary. Experience with scripting languages like Python and Perl is a plus. The ability to troubleshoot software/hardware configuration problems and customer issues is important. We are looking for demonstrated ability to handle/organize multiple technical projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. We need a self-motivated team player who is able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Job Summary: |
The QA Engineer II will design; develop QA test plans and test cases for assigned areas of Veraz softswitch platform. He/she will perform all aspects of verification, validation including functional, regression testing using test tools and automation. This includes document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing and perform bug tracking and bug verification. The ability to understand the customer requirements and work closely with engineering team to reproduce the problems reported by the customers and provides all the logs. Able to perform the periodic regression tests to verify the sanity of the product patch releases and automate the test cases for BAT (Basic Acceptance Testing). He/she is able to work with other members of the QA team to improve our processes, tools, methods, effectiveness and efficiency. |

| Experience/Skills: |
We are looking for a minimum of 5-7 years cumulative experience testing telecom/VoIP products. A strong technical background coupled with in-depth experience of testing any one of VoIP (Sip/H.323/H.248) and any one of TDM (Ss7/Isdn/Cas) protocols. Familiar and has good experience in testing with test tools like Tektronix Spectra / Spectra 2, any standard test tool for testing Ss7/Isdn protocols. Extensive background in QA methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites for system software. Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Expect is additional plus. Oracle / Pl/Sql experience is also a plus. Ability to troubleshoot software / hardware configuration problems. Demonstrated ability to handle/organize multiple technical projects simultaneously. Ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for a minimum of 6 years of work experience in design and development of large, highly scalable network management systems, Fcaps functionality, workflows design and usability. Extensive work experience with web applications, web design and development, XML and related technologies, Css (Cascading Sytle Sheets), Gui, framework design, network management tools, Unix and Oracle. Procedural, functional, object-oriented languages and open-source expertise (C, C++, Java, J2ee, Jsp, Php, Ajax, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Xml/Xsd, Javascript and Scripting languages). Experience in protocols and frameworks for management, web-services and other distributed technologies and architectures (Snmp,Http, Xml, Soap, Java, and Rpc). The Sales Manager is responsible for selling Veraz solutions to Tier 1 and 2 carriers in wireline, wireless and Isp space. The Sales Managers duties also include working with solution partners and channels to win new business while expanding and managing existing accounts. |
| Experience/Skills: |
The right candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years selling experience and will have experience in demonstrating sales success closing business with the telecommunications/service provider market. The candidate will also have experience selling VoIP, C4 and C5 switches as well as applications solutions. Customer contacts leverage within the Tier 1, 2 and 3 carrier markets, wireless and wireline carries will be an advantage. A good level of understanding of VoIP technology and its applications is necessary. |
