External SEC reporting. Review of press releases, press release scripts, board reports, etc. Technical research for implementation/impact of FAS’s, SEC Bulletin’s, SOP’s, etc. for the company’s operations and financial reports. Stock administration to include FAS 123R and other stock compensation calculations. General Ledger assistance. Create/review management reports. Accounting policies and procedures. Responsible for documentation in relation to SOX compliance activities over Stock Administration and External Reporting. Liaise with the company’s external independent auditors as well as internal and external counsel related to the company’s filings with the SEC. Assist with other accounting areas such as revenue, accounting reconciliations, etc. Other projects as assigned. The Financial Reporting Manager reports to the Director of Accounting.

CPA or equivalent preferred. Minimum five years experience. SEC experience with 10K’s, 10Q’s and Proxies. FAS 123R. Experience with a Big Four or large national accounting firm. Experience with reconciling accounts, SOP 97-2, Oracle Financials, multi-national public companies, telecommunications industry, rapidly growing companies are all desirable.  Ability to be a team player in a changing environment. Plan, schedule and organize work independently without significant supervision in order to complete tasks within designated timelines.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.

Maintain existing documentation including: Installations Guide, User’s Guide, and Maintenance Manual. Track product updates and ensure that the information is reflected in the documentation. Fix bugs in documentation. Write release notes. Write new documentation in a team environment.

2+ years experience in writing technical documentation using Adobe FrameMaker. Track record of delivering end-user documentation on schedule with excellent quality. Ability to work independently as well in a team environment. Ability to work well on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Excellent time management skills. Excellent writing and editing skills. Good communication and people skills. Must have great organizational skills. Willingness to learn difficult concepts.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or Technical Writing preferred.
