Description: The "Veraz Edge Services Platform (ControlSwitch 6.X) O&M Training" - provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the architecture and functionality of a combined Veraz Transit Switch and its Edge Services Switch, provides a seamless interworking of IMS system. Course providing the necessary knowledge and skills to perform essential system administration, provisioning.
The course combines theory and hands-on practice.
Target Audience: Network, operations and maintenance engineering personnel
Course Duration: 40 hours (5 days)
Prerequisites: Familiarity with IP Networking, TDM basics, telephony basic services and IP telephony principles. Basic understanding of SS#7, ISDN-PRI, MGCP, H.323 and SIP as well as telephony basic billing telephony and IP networking security.
Course Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
  • Understand the combined functionality of the Transit Switch and the Edge Services Switch.
  • Perform provisioning within the operation environment.
  • Perform monitoring and system’s performance.
