Apliman Collect Call is an easy-to-use call completion application that allows a user to request another user (either prepaid or post-paid) to pay for the call. Apliman Collect Call can be used for out-of-credit parties, as well as for parties with credit. For example, it caters to users who are on agreement that the called party should be responsible for their phone bills, such as employee-boss calls and children-parent calls.
- Enables subscribers to make a call from anywhere without cash or cards
- Allows a fast response to make critical phone calls even when out of credit
- Increases call completion rate
- Maximizes ARPU
Apliman Collect Call can use either IVR or USSD and involves two easy steps:
- Party A dials a predefined IVR/USSD code followed by party B MSISDN number (free of charge), and waits for approval from party B.
- Party B receives a normal call and can see the MSISDN of Party A on the mobile’s screen.
When party B picks up the call, he is notified through IVR that this is a collect call request and is given the option to accept the call or reject it. If Party B accepts the call, connection with Party A is established, and Party B is charged for the call.
